The blade of the bat is slightly shorter, reducing the size, taking crucial weight out of the bat, without losing any power. The handle is super short as opposed to the standard short handle – again, taking weight out of the bat but also meaning a better pick-up, balance and better hand speed. Design-wise, the Gem’s quality speaks for itself. The blue and white decals will be desired across the cricketing spectrum, with imposing stickers which make the bat feel wide when looking down the spine.
